History:

A few years after Cecil John Rhodes', British South Africa Company ascended to the helm of the political structure of Zimbabwe, it became clearer to Rhodes and the company that the huge goldfields they thought they expected to encounter where not that huge. Rhodes and his company instead looked and concentrated at both commercial farming and mining as stimulants to economic growth. Thus began the commercial farming story of Zimbabwe that would contribute hugely to the dynamics of the country's political and social landscape.
