The Industrial Index extended yeterday's gains by adding 0.41 points (0.30%) to close the day at 135.31 points. Cement maker PPC (PPC.zw) led the movers with a $0.0100 gain to trade at $0.6000 , HIPPO (HIPO.zw) picked up $0.0075 to close at $0.3750 whilst DELTA (DLTA.zw) went up by $0.0035 to $0.8200. BARCLAYS (BARC.zw) also gained $0.0030 to $0.0250 with ZB FINANCIAL HOLDINGS (ZBFH.zw) closing at $0.0640 after adding $0.0018
Gains were partially offset by losses in INNSCOR (INN.zw) and MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) which both lost $0.0010 to close at $0.4690 and $ 0.0990 respectively.OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) dropped $0.0025 to $3.4475 whilst EDGARS (EDGR.zw) declined by $0.0050 to end at $0.0430.
MININGS
The Mining index lost 4.42 points (7.26%) to close at 56.47 points following a loss in BINDURA (BIND.zw) of $0.0056 to $0.0344. FALGOLD (FALG.zw), HWANGE (HCCL.zw) and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) remained unchanged at previous trading levels at $0.0100, $0.0300 and $0.3270 respectively.
